I’ve read that it takes the average person viewing your brand 8 times before they will accept it as a valid source. Unless you’re spreading the word with methods like guest blogging, you will fade into the crowd fast and end up another blog in the blog boneyard.

2. Guest blogging allows you to generate backlinks to your blog which increase your visibility in the search engines and in-turn drive more traffic to your blog.

(C) Make sure to only guest post on blogs that are within your same niche. Your backlinks won’t do you much good if your blog’s niche is Italian Cousine and you post on a blog whos niche is all about toddlers.

A simple google search for guest blogging sites will pull up quite a few options. Sometimes it requires digging a little deeper to find which blogs accept guest blogs. Take your time, its worth it.
